Karthi : Born Karthik Sivakumar on 25 May 1977) is a Indian film actor who workings in the Tamil film industry. Young man of veteran actor Sivakumar and younger brother of Suriya, he made his acting first appearance in 2007 with the top-grossing film Paruthiveeran, receiving essential commend and the Filmfare Award in place of Best Actor in place of his performance as the so-called character. He went on to appear in commercially profitable ventures such as Aayirathil Oruvan, Paiyaa, Naan Mahaan Alla and Siruthai which established him in the Tamil film industry.
