Kongara Jaggayya had been an Indian Film Actor from Telugu movie theater & Theater. He was popularly referred to as "Kanchu Kantam" Jaggayya Telugu for their booming voice.
Jaggayya was born inside a well-to-do family in Morampudi village close to Tenali in Guntur district. He started acting at age 11, with the role of Lava inside a Hindi play. As a student, he or she joined the Congress party in Tenali, which was active in the Indian Independence Movement at that period. After his school education, he joined a periodical named Desabhimani (meaning "Patriot") like a journalist. Later he worked as an editor for that weekly Andhra Republic.
