Taapsee, is an Indian model-turned-film actress who works mainly within the Telugu and Tamil film industries. Born to some Punjabi family,
Taapsee worked as a software professional as well as pursued a career in modelling prior to becoming an actress. While modelling, she appeared in many commercials and made her acting debut using the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam. Since that time, she has appeared in a quantity of critically acclaimed films such as Aadukalam, Vastadu Naa Raju, Mr. Ideal, and Vandhaan Vendraan. She has also participated inside a film in Malayalam and is currently employed in a Hindi film.
